Uniglide is applied to the mechanical system by adding it to the carrier oil in accordance with the recommended “dosage”. However, it does not mix with the carrier oil and because it is mildly alkaline, it does not alter the way in which the host oil functions; rather it creates an environment that enhances the carrier oil’s lubricity. PROPERTIES

Uniglide FRC is a clear semi-synthetic 10W30 lubrication oil formulation with a light golden colour that has an impressive operating temperature range between -30⁰C to 250⁰C. It is a “near” neutral, non-acidic, mildly alkaline-based oil with a Total Base Number (TBN) (ASTM 2896) between 7.0 to < 8.5, with very mild to odourless properties and crucially, without any solids (i.e. non-particulate).

It treats metal surfaces, coating it with an extremely resilient protection coat through a physical process known as “Adsorption”. It has no quantifiable measure of thickness, it does not build on itself, hence does not reduce the engineering design tolerances of mechanical systems.
