Uniglide is a metal treatment oil concentrate. It treats metal, not oil.
Uniglide helps prevent metal-to-metal contact by forming a boundary lubrication coat over metal surfaces, thus significantly reducing friction, heat generation and metal wear & tear. This significantly increases, improves, and extends the operating capabilities of mechanical equipment. This resilient boundary lubrication coat remains in place even after all the host oil has drained into the sump when shut down, ensuring continued metal treatment and protection against cold start wear.
Physical Features:
- Uniglide is a clear, light golden colour, 10W30 Grade semi-synthetic formulation compatible with both mineral and fully synthetic oils
- Uniglide “Does NOT” contain solids; it is a “Non-Particulate” formulation
- Uniglide has an impressive operating temperature range well beyond conventional lubricants from –30°C to 250°C. (Note: conventional oils degrade at temperatures near and beyond 120°C)
- Uniglide FRC, our base product, has a universal application, as it treats engines, differentials, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, compressors, steering systems, turbine systems, pump systems, generators and much more, making it very economical to stock
- Other critical “actioning” features of Uniglide in addition to metal protection includes anti-oxidation, anti-corrosion, defoaming & anti-foaming, and a “flushing” effect that helps to keep mechanical equipment and host oils free of contaminants, sludge, carbon deposits, and other impurities
