Uniglide is a clear 10W30 semi-synthetic oil concentrate that treats metal surfaces, not oil. Its primary function is to reduce the coefficient of friction, reduce heat generation, reduce wear & tear and extend the effective lifespan of the treated engine, machinery or equipment.
Uniglide contains no solid particles that can clog filters, build up on metal surfaces and reduce tolerances. Uniglide bonds to metal (ferrous and non-ferrous) surfaces at a molecular level in such a way that it cannot be removed unless machined off. This resilient coating on metal surfaces provides ongoing protection against cold start wear & tear and heat build-up, giving peace of mind over your fleet, equipment, machinery or beloved vehicle.
Uniglide is a versatile formulation, compatible with mineral and synthetic oils which extends the operating capabilities significantly, affording protection beyond that of conventional oils, Uniglide offers protection from –30°C to 250°C. However, Uniglide is not recommended for treatment on systems using plant-based engine oils.
Testing of Uniglide
Tests have been conducted at a number of accredited laboratories including Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Lubetech Wearcheck and Intertek Automotive Laboratories in the USA, all corroborating the superior wear reduction claims made about Uniglide FRC.
These tests were conducted along the lines of ASTM D4172 protocol, however, the temperature was set at 150°C, 2x or double the normal test protocol temperatures of 75°C which isn’t at all representative of engine oil operating temperatures. Uniglide FRC still reduced wear by 10% on average! We were able to demonstrate when conventional engine oils have failed, Uniglide FRC will deliver protection well beyond catastrophic failure temperatures.

IMPORTANT:
1. Uniglide FRC cannot repair damaged or worn surfaces. It protects and prevents further wear.
2. Brand new and re-built vehicles MUST be run-in at least 5,000km or 250 operating hours before treatment.
3. Uniglide FRC is not suitable for Continuous Variable Transmissions (CVT), Clutch-Pack Limited Slip Differentials. However, it is suitable for Viscous Limited Slip Differentials, Detroit Lockers and Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG).
